If you are new to St. Timothy's church, this information will be helpful in learning some of the great things St. Timothy's has to offer. If you have any questions please stop by our Welcome Center located on the top floor.

January Ministry Focus
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” —Philippians 2:3-4
January Focus: Observing God At Work in People
One of the primary distinctions between followers of Jesus and others is that we are the people who have time. We are willing to give all kinds of time to others in companionship and service, to be a presence amidst loneliness and grief, and to offer ourselves as a present and living sacrifice to others.
Listen to someone without giving thought to the time. Listen attentively to someone’s story without thinking about what you will say next.
Interact with someone whose cultural background differs greatly from your own.
Fully engage with people. Avoid multitasking when you are in conversation (e.g. leave that cell phone in your pocket!).
Participate in the Crossroads Ministry on Sunday, January 15 by volunteering to serve or provide some food.
Attend Bible Study with other St. Timothy’s members at the Omaha Correctional Center (every Thursday at 7 p.m.). (Contact Pastor Jeremy if you are interested!)
Invite someone to lunch who tries your patience. Get to know him or her better, opening your level of compassion and humility (e.g. how might you try others’ patience?).
Note your ‘God Sightings’- keep your eyes open to see God at work in your life and in others around you, in even the smallest of ways!
